The Communications and Advocacy Working Group is dedicated to joint communications, outreach and advocacy that will drive operational effectiveness for results through the strategic approaches of the UNDG Strategic Priorities 2013-16.

Chaired by UNICEF and UN Women, the Communications and Advocacy Working Group will support and guide the implementation of the Communicating as One pillar of “Delivering as one.” The Group’s primary focus will be to ensure UNCTs in both “Delivering as one” countries and those countries moving towards the progressive implementation of the “Delivering as one” have the right tools and guidance to leverage joint communications to maximum effect, in support of joint advocacy positions and engagement approaches with multiple stakeholders and in the public domain, around the core mandates of the UN system and the post-2015 agenda.
