The QCPR requests a scale-up of common business operations at the country and HQ level, causing an increase in activities in action items aimed to advance the common operations agenda. With the introduction of the UNDG Standard operating Procedures on DaO, including the Operating as One pillar, demand for support from the field to advance the harmonized business operations agenda at the country level has increased.

DaO and non-DaO countries alike seek to implement solutions in the areas of strategic planning, M&E, Procurement, ICT, HR and Logistics. UNDG has the mandate to support country offices and OMTs to implement the harmonized business operations agenda at the country level. As the environment and demand for support has changed, the UNDG seeks to re-align its support structure within this new context to reinforce its ability to deliver on its mandate.

Currently there are 4 working mechanisms related to Business Operations reporting to the Joint Funding and Business Operations Network:

  • UNDG Task Team on Common Premises (UNDG TTCP)
  • UNDG HACT Advisory Committee (UNDG HACT AC)
  • UNDG/HLCM ICT Reference Group (UNDG ICT RG)
